Citizens of some countries who plan to visit Türkiye for tourism or business may apply for their visa through the official portal, as long as they satisfy the necessary conditions. The aim of this page is to describe the official application process in simple language and to show applicants who want help with preparing their application what Mark Turizm’s consultancy packages include.
Important: There is no obligation to use Mark Turizm’s consultancy service. If they wish, applicants can apply by themselves directly on the official portal, without using any consultancy service.
First, the key difference explained
Not every nationality and not every passport type can obtain the visa. Eligibility is queried in the official system by selecting the country/region, the travel document type and the date of travel. The service provided by Mark Turizm does not replace the official portal; it is an optional, paid support service for those who want to prepare their application in a more orderly manner.
Purpose of the journey
According to the official information, the visa is meant for tourist and business travel. Purposes such as work, education, medical treatment, research or long-term residence may call for other visa procedures.

Mark Turizm’s consultancy packages differ in the scope they offer for preparing the application, checking information for consistency, checking the photo and, if needed, the supporting documents, supporting submission to the official system on the applicant’s behalf, tracking, guidance on document delivery and the personalised Türkiye plan.
What does the official visa application generally involve?
The steps below are provided for general information. The definitive eligibility result, the fee, the period of validity and any extra conditions are shown on the official application screen.

Querying eligibility
On the official portal, the applicant checks whether they qualify for the visa by selecting their country/region, the type of travel document and the date of travel.

Going through the official conditions
Depending on the selections made, the official system shows which conditions may apply. Additional requirements, such as a supporting document or a valid visa or residence permit, may apply to some applicants.

Filling in the application form
In the official application form, information such as the applicant’s name and surname, date of birth, travel date and passport or travel document number is entered. What is entered must match the passport exactly. A photo is also uploaded during the application, and supporting documents may additionally be requested from some applicants.

Verifying the email address
The official system may send a verification message to the email address given in the application. If verification is not completed within the time allowed, the application may lapse.

Settling the official fee
If the authorities have set a visa fee for the country and travel document type concerned, that amount is displayed during the application in line with the rules of the official system.

Downloading the visa document
When the application is complete, the official system may offer a link from which the visa can be downloaded. You are advised to carry the document with you throughout your journey, either digitally or as a printout.
For which nationalities is the visa available?
Both the list of eligible countries and the visa exemption rules may be updated from time to time. A recent instance: with Presidential Decision No. 11172, which appeared in the Official Gazette of 17 April 2026, issue 33227, holders of Australian ordinary passports were granted a visa exemption for tourist travel and transit.
The list below draws on the countries shown as eligible on the official information page. Being included on the list is no indication that an application will certainly be approved. Citizens of certain countries may face extra requirements, for example a supporting document, a valid visa or residence permit, a return ticket, a hotel booking, an age requirement, sufficient funds or other conditions. In every case, the final check has to be done on the official application screen.

Information in the passport
The details you type into the application have to be identical to those in your passport or travel document. A mistake in a single letter, a date or a document number may cause the visa to be treated as invalid.
Passport validity period
The required validity of the travel document depends on the applicant’s nationality and on the circumstances of the trip. Before applying, you should carefully review the conditions stated in the official system.
Purpose of the journey
The visa is intended for tourist and business trips. Purposes such as work, education, medical treatment or a long stay may require different application routes.
One application per person travelling
As the official information states, each traveller, including children and infants, must have a separate visa. When applying as a family or group, the conditions indicated by the official system must be followed.
Photo, documents and extra requirements
The photo added to the application and, if requested, the supporting documents must be recent, readable and in line with the official requirements. Official fees and additional conditions alike may vary according to the country, the type of travel document and the applicant’s situation; the most accurate information is found in the official system during the application.
Holding a visa is no guarantee of entry
A visa is an important document for your trip; however, it is the authorised officers at the border crossing who may make the final assessment of entry into Türkiye.

Please note: Neither visa approval nor the right to enter Türkiye is guaranteed by the consultancy service. Fast and Express do not reduce the decision time of the official authorities; the only things they change are Mark Turizm’s service priority, the scope of the checks, the level of support and the preparation time of the personalised Türkiye plan.
If the official authorities have set a visa fee for the relevant country and travel document type, this amount is shown apart from the package fee and collected separately so that the transaction can be completed on the applicant’s behalf.

The package fee and the total payment are two different things. The main item you see in the consultancy packages is Mark Turizm’s service fee. Where they apply, the official visa fee and the commission arising from the payment infrastructure are shown as separate items. Article 7 of the General Terms and Annex Article 9, both part of the Service Agreement for Türkiye, set out the conditions for cancellation and refunds.

Which items do the fees break down into?
Before paying, the applicant should be able to see plainly what the payment covers. The price of a consultancy package is a different thing from any visa fee that the official authorities may have set.
The fee for consultancy
In the Standard, Fast and Express packages, the main item is the fee for the optional consultancy service provided by Mark Turizm.
Official visa fee (if applicable)
Should the competent authorities have set an official visa fee for the application in question, it appears separately from the consultancy fee.
Commission from the bank or virtual POS
Card payments may involve a commission of about 5%, depending on the bank and payment infrastructure used. The exact rate is shown to you at the payment step.
Total amount payable
The applicant must be able to see the total before confirming payment: the consultancy service fee together with any official visa fee and any payment commission.
What consultancy cannot do
- Mark Turizm does not guarantee that the visa will be approved.
- No guarantee of entry into Türkiye is given by Mark Turizm.
- Opting for Fast or Express does not shorten the official authorities’ decision time.
- Consultancy is not a service that can be used instead of the official system.
- This visa does not cover work, education, medical treatment, long-term residence or procedures that call for a consular visa.
- If information is wrong, incomplete or does not match the passport, the resulting consequences are evaluated according to the official system’s rules.
- The packages only make a difference to Mark Turizm’s internal service priority, the scope of the checks and the level of detail of the Türkiye plan prepared.
- Recommendations relating to restaurants, events, concerts, theatres, museums, transport and similar third-party services are for information only; there is no guarantee regarding tickets, reservations, availability, prices or how those services turn out.
Frequently raised questions
Is this page the government’s official portal?
No. This page neither belongs to the government nor replaces the official portal. It is here to describe the official way to apply and to set out the scope of Mark Turizm’s optional consultancy service.
Is Mark Turizm the issuer of the visa?
No. Visas are travel documents, and they are issued by the competent Turkish authorities in line with the official system’s rules. What Mark Turizm provides, if the applicant requests it, is a service covering application preparation, information checks, tracking and guidance on delivery.
Is it compulsory to use consultancy?
No. Consultancy is a service you can take up or not, as you prefer. Applicants may submit their applications themselves on the official portal without using any consultancy service.
Is the official result obtained sooner with Fast or Express?
No. Fast and Express relate only to Mark Turizm’s internal service priority, the speed of its responses, the scope of the checks and the time needed to prepare the personalised Türkiye plan. The official decision process is not made faster by these packages, and approval is not guaranteed by them either.
Does the package fee also cover the visa fee?
No. Where an official visa fee has been fixed by the authorities for the country and travel document type in question, it is displayed apart from the consultancy package fee; it is also charged separately, which allows the transaction to be carried out on the applicant’s behalf.
Can the citizens of every country listed here obtain the visa automatically?
No. The list offers general information about eligibility. Further requirements may apply to some nationalities, for example additional documents, a currently valid visa or residence permit, an age-related condition, a return ticket, a hotel booking, adequate financial means or other conditions. The last check has to be carried out on the official application screen.
For which travel purposes is the visa valid?
As stated in the official information, the visa applies to tourist and business travel. For work, education, medical treatment, research, long-term residence or procedures requiring a consular visa, other application routes may have to be followed.
